Fedrigoni – YCN Competition
This my solution to the YCN Fedrigoni student brief, which requested a finished marketing tool for their latest paper – Sirio Ultra Black.
My design focuses on engaging the audience physically with the paper by communicating information though a continuous folding mechanism. This visual language celebrates the joy of paper-craft and making.
Inspired by the paper-cut work of Matisse I created symbols alluding to both the natural/sustainable qualities of the paper and the spark of imagination required to bring the paper to life. The folding mechanism give the product interest and engages the user for long enough to consume both the information and the various print techniques.
I was one of the prize winners in this competition.
