Tom Eckersley Timeline – Exhibition Poster

This piece was produced specifically for the 'Master of the Poster' Tom Eckersley exhibition in 2014.
I was chosen by curators at London College of Communication to create a poster celebrating the life of graphic design legend and ex-tutor Tom Eckeresley. The exhibition was a celebration of both Tom's contribution to the then London College of Printing, and the 50 years of the college since then.
For this poster I used only moveable wood and metal type, honoring the traditions of LCP and celebrating the facilities that were once famous across the country.
